Guildhawk wins market disruptor of the year award for GAI Translate™
Guildhawk is thrilled to announce it has received the Market Disruptor of the Year Award 2025 at the Security & Safety Entrepreneur Awards (SSEA) for GAI Translate™.
Jurga Zilinskiene MBE, Founder and CEO of Guildhawk, said:
“Before the Covid 19 pandemic, clients asked us if we could create a translation tool that was accurate and secure because using Google Translate risks making data public and the results aren’t good enough. We did - by developing GAI Translate™. We went even further by adding an automated expert review option. Subscribers love it.
Receiving this award is amazing recognition for our teams that built the technology in South Yorkshire, to help people across the world to translate accurately and securely.”
Professor Martin Gill, Organiser of the SSE Awards, said:
“Recognising accomplishments is not a trivial matter; when people don’t do their job well, things go dramatically wrong. At the other extreme, when people do their job very well, the chances of something going wrong are much less likely. That’s why we must be really proud of the achievements of all the finalists, and I congratulate Guildhawk on winning the Market Disruptor of the Year Award.”
Built in Sheffield, South Yorkshire
GAI Translate™ is a precision translation engine built on a Microsoft enterprise stack. The translation results are high quality because the machine learning model is trained on Guildhawk’s vast data lake of verified translations curated over many years.
Extensive R&D was completed by the tech team based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in partnership Sheffield Hallam University and backed by Innovate UK. Guildhawk has invested over £3.5m of the company’s revenue into advancing machine translation technology with further innovations planned.
Guildhawk congratulates all the winners and finalists and thanks the SSEA judges for this prestigious award.
